Ah, December...

We've had a good little holiday time, actually. We let basics and table time go by the wayside and I don't know about anyone else, but OH I needed it. I was vaguely aware I was stale and getting burnt out - both generally but particularly in regards to Home Edding - but I didn't properly realise it until now, when I'm getting all enthusiastic again!

I feel regenerated, which is good - I needed to be!

So there's been much TV watching and playing consols and the PS3 what with all the new DVDs and games and so on that Christmas and birthdays (Fluff's to be precise) have brought, also plenty of chess, bang, lego, reading and just general playing. We got all the plasticine out one day! I am DEFINITELY going to get round to making salt dough. Soon. Honest.

We haven't got out much as the weather, though not very cold, has been very wet. I think we're all finally over colds and things now, and we are starting to get out to parks and town (to spend christmas money!) and so on, now.

We have seen lots of family - we had three nephews down to stay for a few days which was exciting. (Which reminds me, I must parcel up the toothbrushes and clothes they inevitably left behind along with thank you letters and send it all off to their mum).

We've had the Christmas Story competition, sorted out 2011's goals and fixed up 2012's resolutions (more on that in a separate post). We've had a big get-together with Papacrow's family, and with mine, and had meetings with the kids about reorganising basics, table time sessions, and project topics. Phew!

A few more loose ends to tidy up and sort out, and I feel we're sailing into 2012 with our sails nicely trimmed :D
